A veritable Paradise for Nature Lovers (by Shweta Khanna)

The DDA park at sector-6 Dwarka, a green oasis tucked away behind concrete buildings is a veritable paradise for nature lovers!

Come at five am in the summer morning and the resplendent greens come alive with the chirping of myriad small and big birds which is like a musical symphony declaring the day open to wonder n joy !

Early morning yoga enthusiasts, regular walkers and fitness freaks have identified distinct spots and one feels a wave of energy simply by seeing the vibes of fitness all around.

The gardeners have been toiling hard and the fruits of their labour can be seen in nicely manicured grass, magnificent seasonal flowers and dainty round patches of shrubs coexisting with tall trees .

The young and old, men and women can be seen breathing in fresh air, exchanging notes and ripples of raucous laughter and meditative music transport one to a peaceful haven. My pull to nature has been accentuated with this green heaven and what makes it super special is all the diverse four legged friends.

My dear darling beagle, Champ who have found play and camaraderie and whopping fun in this park. From Pogo chasing after balls to Ben sniffing squirrels to Simba balancing himself on the tree trunk, Milo refusing to budge, Comet chasing treats, Joy on a trip of his own, scuffling with Marshal and Nikoo Tasha breezing in Joy, Stacy dramatically scolding the men dogs, Coffee ambling along, Huskies Leo n Chichi brandishing their finesse and Sams, Coco, Chikoo, Haachi and Simbas adding to the party.

It’s absolutely amazing and rare. I pray to maintain this heaven and praise & protect the mother nature.
